This is not from the Play Store. It is distributed directly, like
everything else on this network, so Android will ask you to allow
installation from your browser the first time. The app checks for its own
updates after that and installs them itself — you only do this once.
WHAT THE APP ADDS

on a channel that can sound through Do Not Disturb. Watches and
advisories are a separate, quieter channel you can silence on their
own.

heads-up when the 15-minute model shows rain reaching you within the
hour — not “60% today”, but roughly when it
starts.

Temperature, conditions, and any active alert, without opening
anything.
◎The same radar. Single-site
NEXRAD at full super-resolution, 720 radials at 250 m out to
460 km, on a self-hosted basemap.
✎The same written forecast,
read from ten models, nearby observations, stream gauges and the local
forecast office’s own discussion.
INSTALLING
Tap Download the APK above on your phone.
Open the downloaded file. Android will say it cannot install from this
source — tap Settings and allow it for your
browser.
Go back and install. Android 8 and newer; about 50 MB.
Allow notifications when asked, or warnings cannot reach you when the
app is closed.
